Description
Bodegas Velarcos Sweet Palomino is a sweet fortified wine made from Palomino and Pedro Ximénez in Spain. Palomino is the main grape of sherry, used for both dry and sweet fortified wines. Southern Spain, with its hot climate and white chalky soil, is known for sherry.
Sweet sherry gets its thick taste from ageing and the addition of sweet must. The wine is served with dessert, cheese or on its own at the end of dinner.
