Bodegas Velarcos Amber Dry Palomino (0.5 L) is a dry fortified wine made from Palomino in Spain. Palomino is the main grape of sherry, used for both dry and sweet fortified wines. Southern Spain, with its hot climate and white chalky soil, is known for sherry.
Dry sherry is aged under a layer of yeast, which gives it nutty and slightly salty tones. The wine is served with dessert, cheese or on its own at the end of dinner. The small format is convenient for a single evening.
